how short is the sir-g tranny compared to a gsr or type r?

Go to this website and check out the tranny specs. There you will find all the gear ratios for all B sereis transmissions.

BTW, SiR-g = USDM GS-R

Some sir-g's also come equipped with lsd. Gearing should be the same.
