Default Please help... TIMING PROBLEMS

i just installed my str king 570 cam gears for my jdm h22a accord, made sure everything was TDC and put back the timing belt...but somehow my cars timing seems to be way retarded, as if it feels slower than a sohc....i was wondering if there was suggestions or even better...solutions to this problem...and i was wondering if advancing the timing on the cam gears would solve my problem...

and could the problem be caused by not torquing the cam gear adj. bolts to the 5-7 pnds as it recommends?

please help
thank you
