resleeving????
in side the aluminim block the cylinders have metal sleaves (steel or iron i believe) they can be pulled out (i believe stock engine already have them)and new ones put in, alot of people do this when going with largely oversized pistons or turbo, to strengthen the walls of the cylinders
im getting my ls engine rebulit as we speak, i went with slightly oversized pistons and the machine shop reborred the cylinders to make them straight, so i didn't need to sleave the block and im not going turbo so that didn't affect my decison either
sorry i am a little vague, i figured i'd give it a shot, hopefully some one else can be a little more specfic

i did a search for that, good info there about sleeving, and some extra info just for your viewing pleasure.
