Temperator meter and check engine light on
I have a Accord 94, 94k. The temperator meter is always at the highest level when I drive and the check engine light is on. I changed the temperator sensor but I does the same thing? Anybody knows what is wrong with my car.
Thanks

Well, cut that bullsh-t.
if the needle is way up there, dont drive it.
you could warp a head and seize the whole bottem end of your engine, easy.
go to autozone and have they pull the code for you, if you dont know how to do it yourself.
the CEL code suppose to identify the problem in the engine(sensor monitor the operation of the engine.)

def right on that one. overheating the engine is about the worst thing you could do to it really... its like driving down the highway in the redline for a lil while because you like to hear your exhaust make everyone go def. not a smart idea
but, if you are lucky, there is no damage to your car yet. good luck with it.

well, to be exact.
you can have no fan and still not overheating if you travelling up in highway speed with half of your radiator fill up.
but combination of faulty thermostat, bad radiator cap(loosing the pressure it suppose to hold), leaking coolant line and the fan not kicking in. You gonna be overheating everywhere you go.
Dont risk it

The fact that the temperature needle is at the hot mark alone signifies that there is a problem.
When was the last time you changed your coolant/hoses/thermostat/checked levels? All of those are easy to check and self diagnose with the proper manuals such as Chiltons and Haynes.
As far as the CEL is concerned, I have no other suggestion than to take it to a shop or parts store to have the code pulled.
