I just wanted to inform everybody that Kumho is recalling the ECSTA V710

And these tires are also disqualified from running any SCCA events now, and some of the local SCC events as well.

 

damn, i wish i bought a set....used the almost all up, and then this racall came out. good looking is right. and to all those running that tire, lucky asses, getting free set for....FREE!

What?! It says you turn in your V710's which are discontinued, for a new set of V700's or Victoracers. Why the hell would Kuhmo give you two brand new sets of tires?

Consumers will be given the choice of a free replacement of the ECSTA V710 with either the ECSTA V700 or Victoracer. They will also be provided a free set of the modified ECSTA V710 upon its arrival.

Sounds like two set of tires to me...

Ah, I did not see that part. That does sound like two sets of tires, wow.

 

****, wish I had spent the extra $100 and went with 710s. I would've gotten a free set of Ecstas for rain and a set of new 710s for dry. Bah!
