I have an 89 Crx Si with some light problems. With the lights off when you hit the brake pedal the front marker lights come on with the brakes. When you turn the lights on though the brake lights come on too. They get brighter when you hit the brake but there still on when you release it...including the 3rd brake light.
Does anyone know if a relay could cause this to happen? Thats the only thing i can figure, and which relay would that be? I'm trying to find some photos and descriptions of the fuse box and wiring. Thanx,chris

 

First off, get the factory manual for your car from Helmsinc!!

Then use it to verify ALL ground connections to the circuits in question. My bet is on a bad (missing) ground connection that is allowing one circuit to feed into another.
