Default Hatchback brake lights - where do the wires split?

Only one of my three brake lights works.
Bulbs are ok (one's been replaced & the other has an intact filament).
The fuse & pedal switch are ok too (as one lights up that's obvious).

Where do the wires split to connect to their respective brake lights? At the switch or behind the plastic somewhere and if the later, where?
Also, do they share grounds or have seperate grounds?

The wiring diagrams aren't clear: http://www.redpepperracing.com....html

Thanks in advance!

You need a volt meter, it would make it much easier. Problem may be on the power or ground side.

By the wiring diagram hatch shares 2 grounds, sedan has 1.

I can get a better diagram if I knew what car you had and which of your brake lights work to help you through it.

It's a '93 Si Hatchback, manual.
The right hand side brake light works, the left side one and the one at the top of the rear window don't.
The rest of the tail lights & indicators work fine including the other filament in the bulbs w/the non-working brake lights.
I have a multimeter, I'm basically trying to narrow down where the problem lies so I can start troubleshooting without pulling out half the interior.

A better diagram would be much appreciated, thanks!

Check to make sure you have power coming to each connector and for continuity to ground on the negative side.
