Default Im thinkin bout leavin the Honda scene , Rwd time?

Ive owned four honda's in the past four years. Some good, some bad, some slow and some fast. Ive just did a swap to my recent Crx and Ive had some bad problems with the engine Ive imported. Ive came across a AE86 GTS hatch and I think I might go that Route. Sunday is judgement day. Im gonna have to learn how to drive a RWD car considering the only ones ive owend were 4x4's. So pray to the corolla gods for me, I hope this works out even thou Honda's have taught me mostly everything I know about cars. It might just be time to move on.......

btw, one day when im rich and can afford more than one car there will always be a space for a honda.

I just did a Sr20 swap in a friends 240sx for $300, and I gotta say its pretty easy. 250whp after turning the boost up, 3'' DP, and another 7psi on top of the stock 7psi and its RWD !!!

Its just too bad the car is a peice of ****, and the kid will prob. total it within a week.

The GTS is a really bad *** car. I think your making a good transition from Honda to a RWD car. I have done it..... well.... i own both a RWD (BMW M3) and AWD (Talon TSi) car and i have to say that RWD is much more "fun" than FWD. But it all depends on personal preference i guess. They both handle totaly different in the twisties!

Uhhmmm M3...
Ultimate hatchback that's got a half way abtainable price ?? Z3 hatchback M-edition !! I-6,RWD, flared fenders, BMW power !!!

Funny I hate the normal Z3s, hehe at least I love all versions of civics ( minus the 4-door coupes ).

never paid any attention to the corlloa GTS, even though my first car was a 1980 corolla/terecl coupe with a newer wagon motor ( carbed and FWD... ).

Personally if I were trying to get a rear wheel drive car it would be a Miata. They are rarely ever made cool and if youre making modest HP goals (200 whp) it can be easily achieved to make an awesome little drift car.

damn..at the expense of running the bandwagoneer risk..i too have always wanted a clean hachi and more recently a 510 bug..i still love my CRX though..although..who the hell wouldnt buy a 300 dollar corolla gts..unless its a rust heap..even then i'd probably still consider it

I love Honda to death, but if I were to sometime get rid of my hatch for another, it would easily be a 2nd gen RX-7. A friend got me into the ol' rx's, and I've loved them ever since.
