JDM front owners FOg light ?
What exactly do i need to get the fogs hooked up.. Does the switch have the wiring that goes to the fogs? I don't believe i have any thing in there at all... just wondering....
thanks
thanks
the switch does not have wiring included. the jdm switch is just like the cruise control button.
i was told by someone else that the integra was already prewired for factory accessory foglights, but i don't know enough to confirm. my shop used a piaa fog light harness and hooked it up independently to a usdm fog light swtich in the center console.

The wire running to the engine bay from the under dash area is a blue wire with brown connectors wrapped to wire harnesses with blue tape. One end is taped to the drivers side light harness, the other is under the dash above the clutch pedal
So no need to run a wire, Now just get a switch, do some wiring to a relay and you'll be set

thanks, mike, i'm going to check that out right now....
Wiring the relay is easy also as you can use the accessory taps above the fuse box

Thats exactly what I did It was very easy to do. The fogs are even suprisingly bright.

ok, good, i have the blue wire with brown connectors in both the engine bay and under the dash,
Now what i need to do is take the brown connector off, and put it on the new large brown connector that is wired for the rest of the lights, one open connector, that i assume is for the fogs...
then wire the switch into a empty fuse in the fuse block...?
Now where can i get a jdm fog light switch?

Connect them to the blue wire on the headlights (in the brown connector)
On the inside connect the blue wire to a relays output, connect the input to a constant (+), then connect the relay's solenoid to a ground and to a switched (+) which comes from the fog switch. Connect a source which only has power when the lights are on to the switch. the connections you will need are above the fusebox, use a volt meter to test which is which.
Now where can i get a jdm fog light switch?
