Interesting Problem with Friend's Car...
Alright so I go over to my buddy's house last night to mess with his 89 Civic...The car used to be a DPFI and was converted to MPFI when we did the ZC swap about 2 years ago. Now the ZC has been swapped for an A6. The car has spark and it has fuel to the rail and good fuel pressure, however after cranking for several minutes it wouldn't start. It doesn't even sputter or anything. I pulled one of the plugs and it didn't look wet with fuel or even smell like fuel like I would expect after cranking for that long. I unclipped one of the injectors and tested for power. The injector is getting power but it doesn't seem to be injecting any fuel. I'm trying right now to come up with another set to try. Anyone have any Ideas?
Thanks for the Help!

hmmm..i can TRY to help.
i would start by going over all your wiring...
check the wiring at the ecu...maybe check with the wire's that used to go to the zc's external cam angle sensor, the A6's is in the distributor , so you have to wire that back when going from zc to a6...ummm, check the injector resistor connections and see if they are working correctly?
yeah i guess i would just try to check over the wiring again...and go from there?
hope i helped
good luck

check the Dist cap for cracks and moisture and check and make sure the rotor is on tight... ha alot of problems with that... as for the injectors.... un bolt the fuel rail and pull it off.. with the injectors still connected to the fuel rail try cranking ... if nothing comes out the injectors.. you have your problem... if nothing else then go over everything.. you might need a new ECU.... my 2 cents hope it helps... latez
