TEIN SS or Basic Coilovers vs. Eibach 1.25" springs & Tokico Illuminas
Ok everyone...I need some help deciding which way to go... Does anyone have the TEIN's I'm looking at getting? I'm wondering about the ride... I basically want to lower my car (a little) and get better handling. I am aware the TEIN's are hella expensive but I don't want to skimp too much on quality. Basically can anyone help if you have coilovers on your car. Some people I've spoken with say that the ride with coilovers is real rough, and others say that it's like a stock ride, with a slight stiffness. My main concerns are to get rid of the wheel gap..and make the handling better. Thanks...

There are tons of options as far as springs and shocks...
TEIN is a serious waste of money if you're not gonna take your car to the track.
As for coilovers being too rough on the ride, well that depends on the spring rates.
I'd suggest GroundControl coilovers, they are very street friendly and if you add a set of decent shocks you won't need anything better.
You can also get regular springs if you don't need the adjustability of coilovers.
Eibach springs are great, H&R as well. But my favorite are Neuspeed race springs.

I have Tein SS 16 ways adjustable and the ride is awsome on the street and as for the track too. i used to have gc and kyb shocks and they bounced like crazy, also avoid neuspeed race springs, they are bounce like no other.

i had a set of neuspeed race springs and they didn't bounce at all... it's not all in springs, maybe you had bad shocks.
actually, my friend owns teins on a 5th gen, and to be honest, i like the neuspeed springs better as far as comfort (for street that is).
your GC's bounced like crazy??? i dunno dude, mine didn't. GC and KYB's are a good combo.
