Default Pedal install problems... (sparco)

Trying to out these Sparco Curvas on my 90 si, ran into some problems. Right where you need to drill into the old pedals there is a fatty piece behind it (arm dealy?). I read some of the old threads where people installed them to the side or dremel grinded that piece down. Im wondering if anyone ever just used a longer bolt instead and drilled right through it? thanks....

same problem hear with my sparco pedals. i'm just going to use the other holes in the pedal. I think the clutch pedal will work, but the brake and gas you can't install it the way sparco intended to

its easier to heel toe when the pedals are closer together.

On an EK, but we moved the pedas over to put the gas and brake closer..and drilled away... you can see some of the pedal but the sparco's are nice and close

my big size 12 foot works just fine fer me, I like those pedals, but I'll rock the stock- after I wasted $30 a long time ago on pedal covers that made my pedal not go to the floor (gas)

haha, you know it!

I just drilled new holes in the Sparco pedals. They aren't for show so I didn't care if they looked pretty or not. Its all about being functional!
