Anyone know the stock speaker size in the front and rear for the 5th gen accord?

 

Pretty sure they are 6.5" front and rear.

At least thats what bestbuy.com says

 

i believe they 're 5.25 all the way around.

I hope this is sarcasm?? I know for a fact the backs are 6x9's and I haven't had the chance to replace my fronts yet but i am pretty sure they arenot 5.25...

6.5" might be the right numbers for the front?

um no, go in the rear deck in the trunk and check.i talked to another person on another site yesterday and they said they drilled out the rear to put in 6''.so i cold be wrond but im pretty sure..id say 6.25 max but i doubt it.no im not sure totally.but i also saw in a guide 5.25 unless im outta my mind. i def dont have 6x9's in the rear are u sure no one upgraded the rear,cuz i sure dont have them,i cant even remeber the last time i saw a factory 6x9 in a car stock.if u find the right size post it!!

 

Double check with http://www.crutchfield.com, but it appears as though your speakers are 6.5" rounds in the front, and 6"x9" in back.

in 1993 anyhow the EX front speakers are NOT 6.5 all depends on the model of the car. I.E. EX LX DX. This is what was in the front of my 93 EX.. Also the rears on the 93 ex are 6x9 NOT 6.5. So I suggest going to crutchfield.com and putting in your exact model and it will tell you what is in your particular car.

In my LX in stock form I had two 6x9's in the rear and two 5 1/4's up front. The 5 1/4's have since been drilled to accept 6 1/2's. Easy to do.

 

OH yeah forgot to mention that, that whole speaker "box" once you take it off, I went to the dealer and got the baskets from a 93 DX which accept pioneer 6.5 two ways perfectly. and shields water away from the speaker etc. No modifications necessary or drilling or anything it bolted right up.

 

according to crutchfield they hold 5.25 and 6.5's either or...
