knock sensor and MSD 6 BTM
If the 6BTM retards timing under boost. And if I am correct the Knock sensor retards timing as it "hears" detonation and retards timing also. Are the two working against each other? I have a 1994 Prelude H23A VTEC with JE 9:1 pistons, Eagle rods, and the block is sleeved. I have not purchased standalone engine management yet or my upgraded injectors. I usually run 5lbs on low boost and switch to 10lbs. Sorry to get off track but do I leave the knock sensor or just disconnect and use the 6BTM? Please advise... thanks.
