Default Motor Mounts

my friend got his motor mounts broken in an accident. Is there any companies that make aftermarket mounts for his 2000 SI?? should he put aftermarket motor mounts or just plain stock ones?? Where can we get the mounts for a good price??

Just get new stock ones. They really are the best. If you want eXtra stiffness, you can always add the Energy Suspension inserts later, but unless you're racing, you shouldn't need them.

I TOTALLY AGRE WITH RacindE_teg! if you do go with aftermarket motor mounts be prepared for alot of vibrations. the mounts are sooo stiff you can literally feel every shake from the engine!!!!

I've seen a set of complete aluminum alloy motor mounts for the '92-'95 and '96-'01 Civic's. They come anodized red. The only thing is that they cost $350 for a set...and they only replace 3 mounts. I think there are 5 mounts total. Dunno which mount you'd need...probably a lower mount tho.

Otherwise, talk to Mike K on the board down at Naples for stock parts. His prices are low.
