i took the 2 bolts out of the rear motor mount that hold the tranny. i have a 90 accord with jdm h22 but same motor mounts as prelude really but i got the 2 bolts out but the tranny wont budge and it was just recently taken off for a new t/o bearing. i took the slave cylinder off but do i need to pull out the t/o handle too. this is my first tranny pull ive put it back on but never off :\

I was stuck too. there should be 2 more bolts right next to the rear mount bracket. so you take those 3 off the rear bracket and then there should be 2 that goes from the block to the tranny. no matter what you do, DO NOT PRY THE TRANNY OFF. you'll damage something. I tried to pry through the timing flywheel hole and almost damged the timing point. it should come straight off without prying once you get all the bolts off.

i got it off and yes there was 2 more bolts i missed i hate how those things hide. anyhow im gonna pull the clutch off later, i noticed that the bolts had wierd heads can i use just a regular socket to take em off. i think it is my clutch/flywheel making that noise cause i can move my clutch and flywheel back and forth like an inch almost....there shouldnt be any give and ive had my flywheel bolts loosen on me before.

put a little thread lock on those bolts! 1/2" impact works good too!

ahh...well at least you found them pretty quickly. took me a like 10 mins to find them. you dont' need a special socket to take off the bolts, they're 12 point so just use 12 point sockets on them. I know they look weird don't they? never really see 12 points bolts too often. good luck.
