ok so i am going out for a test drive today and out of no where i look in my mirror and i am being followed by a billow of smoke the size of my aunt bertha's left hip (huuuuge) so after i crapped myself i changed my pants and got under the bitch to see what i thought was oil. feeling around i noticed that both my return and sending lines were fine, so i am baffled and start feeling around the hoses then i come to a cracked hose and my power stearing line exploded, back by the fire wall so theres powerstearing fluid all over the place and and is leaking allover my down pipe and cat. i am as hell the power stearing fluid is everywhere back there
so i pulled the PS belt off so it wont pump anymore fluid threw the crack. why the hell could this have happend? there was nothing that could have snagged the line i am baffled what can i do to get rid of the PS fluid? i feel like an ******* when i leave a **** cloud behind me and i park my car with a smoke coming from all over the place, anyway i am going to sleep b\c i have an 8:15 class tomarrow.....can i just take a hose and spray the back of the block and the fire wall?
sorry this was kinda a rant but im upset b\c its my second day boosting

you'll probably need engine cleaner to break up the oil. water along probably wont do it. Anyway, I had a similar thing happen to me. About 2 years ago when I put a turbo on my car for the first time I blew up an A/C line after the second day. What's really funny is that I just fixed it about 2 months ago.

 

This morning i noticed that the same this is happening to me (the smoke that is..)!!!!!!!!!

how can you blow an a/c line..? I lost all my a/c a while ago and havnnt looked into whre it leaked..

 

I had a crazy spaghetti manifold a long time ago and the heat from the manfifold broke the zip ties that was holding my A/C line away from the manifold. After they broke the line was basically resting on the manifold and you can imagine how long that lasted. I took all the A/C off for awhile but I recently decided to put it back on. It's kinda nice having it back accept I had to make a new downpipe that has a section of 2.5 inch piping to clear the compressor.

 

just be happy it didnt catch on fire,that stuff is flamable!
