I own a 94 Civic DX (converted to Si) I blew the fuse for my interior dash panel and tail lights and license plate lights. For all that dont know thats all in one fuse and in my car its a 20Amperage fuse.

here is the problem when i tried replacing the 20A fuse it blew the new one, and another and another. So i figured ill use a higher amp fuse because of my aftermarket gauges. Nope it even blew a 40A fuse!

Can anyone help me out? SOOON because im trying to go out later haha.

You have a short in your wires somewhere! Whatever you hooked up recently, disconnect it until the problem is fixed! I had this problem before, I ended up having to strip my hatch down to a shell almost just to find the one wire that fried!

 

wow man dont ever use a high amp fuse. you gonna end up blowing out your gauge lights for good. You might have a short or wires touching somewhere.

Check behind your guage cluster. You lucky when you put the 40 in that you didn't **** anything up.

 

Yeah it even blew out a 40A fuse so it has to be pretty bad, the only thing new i did was add an amp and 2 subs. Maybe the amp? im not sure but the only other thing was wire loom lol and i fixed my headlight wich i dont think has anything to do with it but.

damn stripped your hatch?! wow this is gonna be bad i can tell already........
