if ur talkin about ur glove box and you can actually see the light on when you have it closed, its because the glove box isnt closing all the way. no with the car off it should turn off, hell, with the headlights off and all it should turn off because there is no need for a light in the glove box during the daytime now is there? find a way to make your glovebox actually shut nice and snug to the dash and see what happens... if it stays on, who cares! its now closed and you cant see jack! woo! problem solved! if thats not good enough for you, then dealerships are always there to help you when ur stumped
sorry for being vague, but the light turns off when the car or lights are off, it is in the glove box it is a 94 accord. and yes the glovebox doesnt close completely as i checked, is there any way to fix it. its not a big problem but still.
mine does the same...maybe get in there and jus check all bolts and see that everything is actually bolted in right. and also the part that "locks" the glove box to the dash could also be loose because thats what my problem is. but yeah, just go in there and search around and tighten up bolts and what not. good luck
