How do I access the PCV to replace it? I know where it is, but I'm not sure how to get to it since it's sort of under the manifold. Can i just pull it through the cut out in the IM? Is there a DIY for this?

This is on a D16Y8

 

jack your car up and get under there if you have to.

 

I had it jacked up to do some other stuff, but I couldn't really get to it. I suppose I'll try that again. I had so much other work to do on the car that I only spent about 5 minutes trying to access it. I figured I'd try again some other time. The service manual wasn't much help, it just shows you where it is and says remove it.

Remove you intake manifold and you will be able to reach it without a problem. Or do it the lazy way and get a set of bent needle nose pliers and try to reach it that way.

I'd need a new gasket if i took the mani off, right? I may just try the pliers...
