What does the green wire on 02 sensor do? d16z6
Some way, I dont know how but prolly when theives stole my intake, the green wire to my primary sensor 02 got cut through less than 1/8 inch from the start. I looked up to see where it goes on the search and I cant find anything on it. The other wires have places on the ECU where they hook up, but this wire isnt listed.
It doesnt throw a code at all. I unplugged the hook up for the sensor and it runs barely better than it did, and throws a code. Meaning it bogs after it gets warm at any acceleration, but runs fine when keeping light foot on pedal. It also seems to eratic idle when its plugged in and idle steady when it was unplugged. I just don't want to spend 40 bux to have a Honda dealership tell me it was the 02 when I think it was anyway.
Any input is appreciated
