mini me start up problem

mini me start up problem
im almost done with my y8 head on my y7 i just cant get it to start. when i turn the key it turns but there is no spark or something. i pulled out the spark plug and there is gas on it. is it a timing issue or some sort of electricle issue, or something else alltogether? tia
