i am in az. i have a crx with a b16,i h e, and i cant pass emmisions. anybody have this problem and how have you overcome it, i am up for any thing i would like to cheat that damm system if anybody has a sure fire way to

 

You need a hookup. Try some of the smaller garages around town. See if you can talk to one of the mechanics, believe me they know the deal. Just tell them whats up: gotta motor swap, wont pass, blah blah. As long as you dont look like a cop, and tip them a couple bucks you'll be fine.

 

Or course, that is illegal. Better forget i told you to do that

 

try alcohol in your gas its gonna raise the oxygen level and remove moisture might help but tampering with anything on your car to pass emissions is illegal thank goodness my car is registered out of state.

 

don't run acohol! i say again do not run acohol in your car! i have been through this mainy times. and you ask most mechanics and running acohol is bad for the motor. i had this problem with my zc, and i put alcohol in it and it actually got worse. i ended up swapping out the catalitic converter and all was cool. if you have a FPR try dropping that to what the stock readings would be. what exactly are you failing? let us know that and we should be able to help. if you need any help give me a call...i am near you.
