doing a tv and playstation in the dash of a 93 2 door but i need the room where the pass airbag was-has anyone tried to bypass the airbag with a resistor so the ecu thinks its still there?i think all it needs to see is resistance like in the coil of the detanator other airbags i have metered at around 2 ohms so is this about the same?

 

i did on my steering wheel

just cut the pug off the air bag solder the 2 wires togeather and plug it in!
