Default anyone have or heard of a skid plate for an exhaust?

i have a 93 civic si h/b with an apexi n1 and it hangs way to low, i plan on droping it 1.5" in the rear. if anyone has one on their exhaust does it work? thanx

I don't have one but, they work pretty much by the ground scrapping the plate and not getting though to the exhaust. My buddy with a Dunk has one

Im sure the part that you would like to cover is the pipe that curves down right after the lower control arm.

You can make one yourself is not really that hard at all. Im sure if someone comes up with a picture you can make it.

Below there is a picture from a gentleman named Kengs ( Im sure he's around HT too) this picture is for a header skidplate obviously but you get the idea. It should me much easier to make one for the exhaust.



That yellowish material that you see is fiberglass insulation widely available to the general public... the rest are oversized hose clamps and the metal plate that you can have a machine shop do for you for a nominal fee.

i know they make them for the itr 4-1 header, but i have never seen them for an exhaust, not a bad idea tho
