Default JDM b16a sir2 turbo question

alright i need some advice on turboing my JDM b16a sir2...i know the jdm motors have a little higher cr than the usdm, and i was thinkin about slappin a greddy si kit on the jdm motor and run the stock boost...basically i want a lil more power for my daily driver. the question is, is this a good idea to run a greddy kit on a JDM motor? i most likely will get the emanage in the kit so it can be tuned and what not, so is this a good or bad idea? thoughts? advice? all help is wanted thanks!

so here is what i have done to the motor thus far:
its a 99 ex B16a sir2
pnp head, 3 angle valve job, portlow springs and retainers
gsr cams
skunk2 cam gears
FPR
port matched intake mani and tb
also i am runnin the usdm Si ecu i believe its the p2p correct me if i am wrong i always forget.

Not sure what your looking for.
It's a good idea if your looking for more power.
It's a bad idea if your looking for a gas saver and want 35mpg (you'll be boosting a lot ).
Usdm/Jdm same thing. Usdm 10.2:1 and jdm 10.4:1 cpr.

ive been thinking the same thing, with the cr up there, would you have to run a thicker head gasket to lower the cr to boost safely, or is the kit designed to work with this cr, i know someone is going to say tune tune tune, but i don't really know anything about the kit straight out of the box
