Default Head Studs/Cometic Headgasket on stock Block GSR?

I am getting ready to install my full race turbo kit, but before I do I was wondering If I should install a new thicker .56 headgasket and ARP head studs or just hold off and install now? Is it worth it for reliabity reasons to lower compression using the gasket or should I not worry about it for now.

Thanks for any info.

factory headstuds can stretch and arp headstuds give you a better tourqe reading because of the way they are made..

SparkRacing has them for $105 shipped. ARP uses a stud and nut, OEM uses a bolt. Obviously, the stud is the superior setup.

they are also good when people take heads off frequently. the stud is always threaded in the block, instead of a headbolt that can be misaligned and strip the treads in the block.

arp's, aebs headstuds are super strong and i would recommend them for ANY build!

when mine gets together i will have aebs and a thicker gasket, also my friends accord is running the aebs studs also.

My opinion, do it right the first time NOT the second!

i've seen aebs have issues and cross thread out of the box on removing the nut. it went on properly and fine w/o issues but upon removal it cross threadeed itself and ruined itself.

Yes it is worth it. I would install the HG and Studs before the kit is installed.
