Some suggestions for my suspension ...
I am asking you guys for you suggestions for my suspension on my 1998 Accord EX V6. I just aquired it about a month ago and I am slowly transforming it. I do not want to SLAM it to the ground ... just want to make it look nice. I wanna keep the ride (that is why I went with 50 series tires). The tires are Hankook P215/50R17's on Exel 17" gunmetal H-50's. I am dealing with gaps above the tires of about 1 3/4" in the rear and about 2 1/2" in the front.
I have been thinking that maybe I would use the adjutable type springs. The I also saw springs that would drop it about 1 1/2" in rear and 1 3/4" in front using the stock struts (which is what I would like to do).
Here is a picture of the car that I am doing. I look forward to hearing your suggestions.

i am planning to drop my ride 1.5 inches and use stock struts with eibach pro kits
i am also going to get some one to install it for me and also i am gonna get an alignment

the fact that you using oem strut or not have nothing to do with the ride height. the strut/shock/damper control the spring rebound/boing rate(how responsive and comfort of the ride)
get some GC or h&R race

ive got ground control coils and kyb AGX shocks....if you plan on lowering it and keep good ride quality...spring for shocks....its worth it...and i would also lose the 50 series'...i have 215 40 17s on my 95 accord and the ride is still great...although id be sketched about potholes and low-pro tires with those rims...here is a link to my pics so you can see how low mine is...

I have sprint extremes that gave me a 3 1/4 inch drop. You don't have to go that low. But for good ride quality and for not to expensive I recomend sprints. I recomend getting something other than oem struts. I have tokico blues. If you really plan on riding on the stock struts than after they blow the ride quality is going to be horrible! I did that route last sping until this spring and there is a 100% diffrence in the ride quality!

I was saying that last spring with my coilovers and stock struts the ride sucked. But now with Sprint springs and and tokico blue struts the ride is 100% better.

if you want to go low i would recomend koni yellow's...the ride quality is great...nice and stiff no car bouncing up and down all the way down the street
but if you are not going to drop the car that much the stock struts will be fine....i kno kids who slam the car and use stock struts and they are fine....But which route do you wanna go...coilovers or springs?
