Default Need info on headwork from u guys

hey there fellow honda addicts. this month im deciding to pour most of my hard earned money into a little headwork. i really have no idea what exactly i want to do though, so i need some advice and a little information. ive got a stock y8 which i will soon be running 8lbs of boost on with an IHI turbo. im looking to get a 3-angle job, valve last adjustment, and some sort of mild port and polishing. i was thinking of milling the head to ensure a good seal between the head and block when i reinstall, but because of boost i dont want to raise compression too high. how much is the minimum mill (i.e. .001) and how much does that raise compression. also looking to see how much you guys spent on your headwork or how much what im talking about will cost me. sorry for the long post. thanks.

IMO I would spend the money elsewhere, more bang for the buck.

With boost, you dont need to do all that stuff, just turn up the boost!

I would take that 800 or so in work, and get some nice rods and pistons, then save a little more, and get some new bearings, and arp rod bolts and head studs, so you can up the boost even more. I think stock d-series sleeves are good for 200, are they not? Your not going to get that with an ihi, but you can just upgrade a a nice t3 in teh future.
