High boost and low comp or low boost and high comp
OK so I'm startin to plan out my B series motor build and i'm havin trouble decidin which way to go. It's gonna be turboed and the block and head are gonna be completely built, stroked, and bored over, including sleeves and bigger head studs... But anyways, the compression ratios i was thinkin about using were either:
1) 7.1:1
or
2) 14.x:1
Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated... Thanks

Man U FTW
i have never heard of anyone using a 7:1 compression piston in a turbo Honda...and i dont think you'd have much room to boost on a 14:1 compression engine...maybe think of something a little less extreme
if you want to have good off-boost response, get something in the 11:1 range or if you want lower comp, get a 9.6:1 piston...there is no need to go to 7:1 or 14:1
