What size turbo for 450whp on Built b16 block? Good spooled up
Don't want to use something too big that will be over kill, Would like something that will make the power but not take for ever to spoolup, aslo don't really want it maxed out at 450
Any suggestions, Wanna run 84mm Sleeved b16,Gsr Cams,VictorX intake manifold, probably gonna be hondata

A T3/60-1 Stage 5 turbine wheel with either an .82 or .63 A/R housing or probably an even better choice would be an SC61 with stage 5 wheel and .63 A/R . Those turbos will easily make 450whp. I made 500whp with a Turbonetics T3/60-1
Stage 5 .82 A/R turbine.
Stage 5 .82 A/R turbine.
I too was worried about lag when I was building my motor, but IMO it is far overrated. I'm making full boost at around 5000 RPM's (stock bore 9:1 GSR motor with a .63 A/R SC61, Stage V wheel) and the only time "lag" really comes into play is if i'm having a bit of fun on the street taking off quick from a stop light. But even then I am making full boost by the time I am through the intersection, then after I shift to second there is no looking back, I never drop out of boost again. Go with the SC61
Cool, Im just trying to make sure I have all the right info as I buy these parts so i don't regret it and have to do it twice
I can't say anything no one else has said. I would go with either the SC61E or the GT35E. You have room for more power too
who sells these turbos ??? and around about how much $$$$ just
wondering cuz im doing the same this summer.
