I have a B18B1 and I got a T3/T04E 60 trim w/ .63 AR turbine from cheapturbos.com, but I think I should have gotten one a little smaller. It gets full boost (7psi) at around 3900rpm, and it doesn't let off at all up to 7K. It is a good turbo for the $550 I paid for it, even though it might be a little big. I was thinking about getting a precision turbo, but I didnt have the money at the time.

i got the T3/TO4 60trim w/.63 ar on my Ls and ya it is a bit big but i would chose the same agion. once it is spooled up it dont really stop like when u shift it will drop to like 5psi but go right back to 7 in a fraction of a second and full boost dose come around 4000rpm's but when ur racing u shouldent be at 4000 anyways. oh btw im only boosting 7

I've got a T3/T4 .63 .60 on my B18A, and it comes on around 4 grand, and pulls 14 lbs all the way to 8K. I do have Arias 8:5.1 pistons and Crower H beams though, but the compression is a little lower than stock....

It depends on what your going to use the car for.
If your going to be driving it daily and want fast spool your going to want a smaller turbo, if your more concerned with getting your 12 sec time slip that will be a good turbo.
You need to factor in your driving, hp goals and your set-up into the equation.

Hey B18bEK - What kind of fuel system and tuning are you running to get that much HP with a stock LS engine. I am looking for around 320HP only when I want to turn up the boost, but I thought I'd have to spend a lot to build up the internals my B18B1? Can you give me any info?
Thanks

yes! i use to have a 50 trim t3 turbo on my ls (for sale if you want it) there was no boost lag and it held its breath all the way to redline. now i have a t3/t04e 60 trim and with my 3" exhaust i hit full boost around 3500rpms i believe. not too much lag at all (atleast it doesnt feel like it) if you have ?'s pm me.
