I know everybody's like another tread about intake install but this isn't. I put on my short ram intake and now it has a loud whistling noise. checked all the clamp and they look to be secure. Also, does anyone know about buying an EX aftermarket header and high flow cat and putting it on an HX. Guide to install would help. I recently got a 2.25 cat back exhaust wondering if it will fit up to the new cat or will I have to cut it shorter.

 

do a search you should find what you need...but as for the whistle noise cold air intakes make somewhat of a whistle noise sometimes...as for your short ram if it does its cool...you don't have a leak

 

intake question <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thats how Mush if not all intakes sound like if you had a cold-air-intake it would sound more like a deep tone. So you dont have a leak anywhere

I had searched. I've searched on HT and on the net. I found some things that say it can be done but none that say if I'll have to shorten the cat back or anything else. Just need to know more about the HX system and if it needs a whole lot of backpressure. I've read everything I think that's on HT about it and the beautiful write up spade had about it but nothing to let me know for sure if this is a good idea. Anyways thanks for the answer on the intake. I was kinda worrying.
