I am going to change my transmission fluid today and have never done it. Can anyone give me any help? How much do I fill it up? Any special procedures I need to follow? I have the Helms manual so I will follow that but anything esle not in there I need to know?

I was actually going to use GM Synchro Mesh. Does anyone think this is a really bad idea?

 

I have it in my car right now, no complaints although it didn't cure the grinding problem. However it did fix the grinding on my friend's del Sol VTEC.
