Need Help, Where does the Vtec Oil Pressure pin go in the ECU Clip?
I have a 97 DX and i'm trying to add the wires in to Wire up VTEC. So i added in VTEC, Knock and someone told me i need to wire up VTEC Oil PRessure, where in the clip is this? indicate please by big Gray clip, Big blue clip, small blue clip, cause i forget which clip is clip a, b, c. i looked in the Hybrid Board, but it doesn't say anything about it....Thanks
The plugs that you really use are A, C, and D. Plug B is for automatics. The VTEC press pin is C15, and it is the plug that is second from the right (the blue one) on the ECU. I think you're also goin to have to change ur IACV pin if you haven't already since the DX uses a rotary style 3 pin IAC and any other motor uses the linear type. If you need to do so take ur plug A (the big gray one) and move pin A14 to A12, that's ur IAC + and you will also need to modify the engine side of the harness with a two pin connector. And last if you are doin a GSR swap with a stock intake manifold you'll have to add the signal wire for the IAB solenoid, that's pin A26. Good luck!
