Default anybody ever get their manifold flame sprayed?

i took my part to get thermal coated. i thought it was gonna look like this one guys i seen on the internet(nice shiny chrome look). its like a grayish metallic coating. they said its suppose to lower the temps about 10 to 15 degrees. i only paid 150 to have it done. wanted some opinions on it. i will have pics up later. they call it flame spray aka thermal spray. they prep it then spray it with like aluminum wire i think.

Damn thats pretty high, you can get it coated at hp tempature coatings for like 115. Never the less great upgrade and one that many pass on.

sorry for the dark pic. 150 was for the manifold, downpipe, dumptube 2 peices of charge piping. i thought it would look more like what jet hot does. all i know is they call it flame spray and they use a aluminum wire and goes through a gun and it changes into spray material.

Be glad you didn't get the silver polished stuff, trust me you don't want it. The silver crap flakes and peels off and will look like **** in a year.

i was told that even polished stuff was never suppose to rust or discolor over time. its suppose to be warrantied for that. i really aint feeling that grey metallic stuff as much as the polished look llike i thought i was getting.
