Default new temp gauge, now fan doesnt come on

i put a new autometer water temp gauge in my car, i put it where the stock gauge was, and now my fan doesnt come on?

what shall i do?

thats you problem then
The ECT sensor gives the cooling fans ground at a certain temp so that they come on

can you run a t connector? it worked for my oil temp...dont know about the water temp tho.... i just wired in a manual switch so i can turn it off and on.

i tried a t tap, for the water temp wire and it made the autometer read wrong and mess up....
