Default modding an 01 4 cylinder accord coupe, evo2 vs. skunk2

I'm starting to mod my car and I was thinking of doing the usual: adding an exhaust, intake, headers, and maybe some small stuff. But now im thinking maybe i should turbo my car, so forget about the intake and headers. For the exhaust, which would be better, a skunk2 mega power exhaust system or a greddy evo2? I don't know that much about modding, I just know that I love it and i love cars, and i wanna **** up some of my friends' nissans. Aside from the exhaust, what turbo would be the best? Would these exhausts even work with a turbo? Is there an exhaust even better than these 2 that's between 4-700 bucks? For the sake of all our hondas, i need to find this out so I could show my city hondapower, thanks.

get a custom 2.5inch(or in extreme case 3inch) diameter mendret bend with a straight flow muffler(apex'i RS, apex'i N1 turbo spec, etc)
without a resontar.

and that's for boost only, it will sound like a jackass if you dont have the turbo.

generally speaking, NA exhaust system on FI car=restriction=bad

Headers are for v twin, v4, v6,v8,v10,v12

is INLINE four for your honduh

and you dont need to show hondapower in IRVINE, i go there alot

Just messing around, good luck

mmm.....custom setup.

Depends if youre on a buget or not.

If youre on a budget get as many parts from (2nd gen?) DSM cars, get a manifold, and scrape up a turbo. Youll want a T-25, or even better, a t3/t4 combo.

If you want to spend your money even faster, take it to a shop nearby that modifies imports. I'm getting a custom sleeper setup for my accord- Innovative turbo and a water to air intercooler, cant see **** from the outside

Your Nissan loving friends will go

Believe me i know my friend has a Spec-V and i've got a near stock accord and he smoked my ***

what do u guys think about my original question if i told u i got an auto. i gotta good potential swap but there's only a small chance that itll happen, so what would ur answers be saying that i kept my auto? looking forward for what u all have to say, keep in mind our goal in life is to **** up a spec v, or at least a modded altima to begin with, and they're both stick. I need my accord to box, auto or stick, so for the love of God give me gloves

you live in ca, i think they know what honda par is

if you keep the auto go turbo. your never gonna make enough power all motor for the auto tranny to be fast. if you turbo it you can atleast use the long gears to your advantage.

as for an exhaust just get whatever is the best combination of cheap, looks and sound. they all pretty much do the same thing. difference in power between the best exhaust and the worst is maybe 2 hp.

if you dont really know, your better off getting a pre fab's kit like a drag kit or something. I'm peicing my own together, will have it all done in about a month. i have an auto tranny and im using a t3 super 60 with .48 ar. i could for a .63 ar but im only wanting to make around 220 and for it to spool very fast. I've seen dynos of accords making 280 whp on stock blocks

Dont buy anything yet. Keep on gettin smashed by your friends. Save up for a turbo kit, and then..........SMASH!!!!! on your friends. Buying the usual I/H/E will only rip you off in the long run. FAST All motor Accords are rare or should I say NON existent (especially 6th gens, unless u got a V6). Save your money and go turbo or shoot some NOS for cheap thrills.

I agree.

This worked on me tonigth when I got my *** kicked.

1. Get a turbo.

2. Tune your car.

3. Get the biggest most annoying sounding muffler possible.

4. Throw that muffler bait and lure 'em in.

my car's completely stock under the hood, t3/t4 combo sounds good but i dont even know what else to add to the stock automatic to make it work smoothly and powerful enough to smoke spec-v's, so should i do the t3/t4 combo (and if so what parts should i add for smooth operation), a turbo kit e.g. the ones on http://turbokits.com/accord_turbo_kits.html at the bottom for a 6th gen four cylinder coupe, or should i get a supercharger. I've been looking for a supercharger made by jackson but i havent found one for the accord. please tell me which of these options give the most dependable and powerful bang for the buck, cuz turbo's and the expensive stuff isnt my area of expertise. PLEASE HELP ME, thanks

Grab a DRAG, or F-MAX kit. Both come with everything that you will need.

From what I can see, you don't know that much about forced induction to piece together your own kit. I'm not even that knowledgable yet.

Talk to KTeller8 about a custom exhaust setup. He will you help you any way he can.
