Default What suspension are you running with your N1 on your hatch?

I've got a 93 SI hatch and I currently have Koni Yellows and Neuspeed Race Springs to be put on but now that I have an N1 that set up is going to be damn near impossible and nothing but trouble for my exhaust.

So I'm just wondering what everyone on here with an N1 on there hatch is running, I'm thinking of trading the race springs for sports and maybe even selling the Koni's for something a little cheaper since they really wont be needed for such a small drop. Or should I keep the Koni's with sport springs and be able to adjust the height a little with the Koni's?

I'd rather sell or trade all of it off for another set up, so let me know what you guys with the N1's are running on you hatch. Thanks.

I don't have an N1, but I do have a Tanabe RM, I running Tein coilovers and have had no problems with my exhaust. Then again my car isn't extremely low and ricetastic.

your setup is perfect, the neuspeed race springs have been used by one of my friends from hasport and he loves them. as for the n1, i assume you mean the apexi n1 exhaust, it shouldnt be a problem. the n1 has been redesigned to go over the lca, so the old clearance issues have been resolved.

the apexi n on my hatch goes around it and theres like 4 inchs left from the ground. i have no problems with clearance as of now but once i lower the car thats gunna be a problem. thats why i wanna go with sport springs and then if there enough room drop it a little morewith the koni yellows...

but im in a bind with money so im thinking of selling the yellows for some kyb agx and trade my springs for sport springs... i dunno if i can adjust the kyb though and if so to what length.

im not sure what your saying, but i think you think that you can lower your car more with your struts, which you cant do. so the only thing you would accomplish by selling your koni's for the agx's is 5 way dampening adjustment. and obviously a raised look with a softer ride if you get the eibach sport springs. so what im trying to say is dont slam your car if you have the old N1, it will scrape. i have the rsr exmag gt2 and my car is only lowered like 1 1/2" and it hits **** and it has better clearance than the N1. hope i helped you.
