This may be a stupid question, but is anyone running a Type R motor in an eg?

Yeah its a pretty stupid question, and I don't feel like being an ******* today so i'll say yes. It bolts in the same as any other B16, B18 motor. People who want a swap and can afford the 4000 price as opposed to the 2000 price of the B16 get the ITR swap.

all bseries are the same. typer just costs more.

Yeah the Type R just costs more.



Don't forget that it also lays down about 25 more whp than an average GS-R swap and about 30 more whp and 20 more ft-lbs. of torque than the average B16A.
