Will an obd2a ECU, work with my obd2b engine?

I have a d16y7 and am looking at doing a mini me head swap but the ECU is obd2a...

Let me know please.

why would you do a mini me swap you already got the VTEC?\
EDIT:: that is the HX right??? then never mind your gonna need the ecu for the new head your putting on

It will work, but you will need a jumper harness, because the ecu connectors and all the pinouts are different.

u can find them for about $75-100 these days.
