stripped block mount bolt. HELP!

Default stripped block mount bolt. HELP!

i was taking out the driver side mount, and when it came off the rivet came out with the bolt. so the two holes in the block where the bolts go are stripped. what can i do to fix that? re revit the block holes? or what?

Y did u take the 2 bolts off the block? Thats making extra work for yourself. Is this from the drivers side? All you had to do was tak out the bolt & nut going HORIZONTAL thru the mount by the firewall . Looks like you'll have to use an EZ out kit, or tap & die. Thats bonkers!

i had to replace the mount with a whole new one thats why i took it completely off. but will retapping the hole work?

you can retap the block to the next size up really not that hard but you will have to drill out the bolt holes on the mount to not hard either same thing happend to a friend about a month ago have not had any problems yet and its making pretty decent hp
