Not sure waht to do. I was told shimming it to type r flow rates was good, but will it be reliable? Anyone with experience let me know.

 

are you going LSvtec or B20Vtec?? if you are yeah you have to get a vtec oil pump. shimming the oil pump would get you more oil pressure, but what for... turbo setup??? how high are you going to rev this motor. it all depends what your setup would be.

Note... we tested the b16a, gsr and the typr r oil pump. the b16a had the most oil pressure. this was on a B20 block.
