Default Performance Chips, which is best?

Hey, jw, I'd like to get a performance chip for my 94 EX, but...its an auto, I noticed Hondata had an exception for those, so I'm kinda screwed. Anyways, is there anything else out there? If so plz let me know, I appreciate it all.

well it really depends on what you have done to your motor. most of the aftermarket chips out there basically just adds more fuel and advances your timing.

Hondata is a standalone system, it requires dyno and/or WB along with logging to be efficient. "Chips" like the Skunk2, JUN, and Mugen program or whatever are basically timing advancers that also play with the fuel maps. They can also change rev limit. Many out there are knock offs, I personally don't like them because I'd rather have the car tuned for my setup.

Chips are great if you want to kill your gas mileage and screw with your VTEC engagement point

I'd convert to manual before getting a chip.
