Default engine swap/noob=help please

I am not real smart when it comes to engine swapping but I did try and search but am still really confused. I am going to be putting in a b18b 99 motor in my 93 dx hatch. The 99 motor is obd2 and I need it to be obd1. Do I just need the wiring harnes converter or can I use like a 95 ecu or both. I plan on using hondata later when I get my turbo and I did find that obd1 is better for hondata. What year of ecu should I use for the swap. Can I use all other parts from the 99 or do I need to mix and match it with obd1 parts. Sorry but I need help quick? I guess what I am trying to say is how do I put the 99 motor in and have it be obd1 for hondata and to make it work in my car sorry so long?

Thanks in advance?

Well, You have got much to learn before you boost if you cannot figure this one out.

All you need is an OBDIIa --> OBDI conversion harness. Readily available from reputable people on here or even eBay.

That will allow you to use the ECU from the 99 B18B engine.

And as far as the Hondata goes, of course they work "Better" with OBDI computers...becuase it is required to mate the Hondata with one.

Well you could do it that way, the hard way or my way the easy way. remove the wire harness from your dx motor and place it on the b series motor. all the plugs will fit the various sensors accept the CAS sensor. Use your dx distributor to. everything will plug in. if the dist doesnt get a obd1 b18 dist. Now you can use your stock DX ecu to run the b18 motor. no wire conversion harness to buy. and you do not need the harness screamin teg listed he had it backwards you would need a obd1 - 2a conversion harness not a 2-1 harness. to use the b18 ecu. If you want to use the b18 computer you would need the harness i mentioned. which is a good idea, but the b18 will run on a dx ECU just fine. it wont be terribly fast tho, but it will run. If you want to wire the CAS in you would need to use your DX harness and a obd1 b18 ecu. which is the best way to do this for a newbie NO WIREING FOR NOOBIES, you will **** it up and if you dont, it will prolly be shitty ne way.
recap: use the DX motor harness
but a obd1 b18 ecu from ebay or uberdata yours.
possible may need to buy a obd1 dizzy and do a plug swap.
