88' Civic DX Hatch threw up
Pretty much the truth. My hatch, a while ago, was running great. Burns a little oil, but that's to be expected (I think). Anyway, I drove it home on Firday from work (about a month or 2 ago) and parked her for the weekend. I come out of my apartment on Sunday to find oil all over the ground! I'm like WTF! I check the dip stick, barely registers on the tip. I look @ the oil pan, and I can't really see any cracks or holes. is it possible for all the oil to leak out of the oil pan gasket! Perhaps the gasket blew and all the oil came out there? From what I can tell, I can't see any oil leaking from up top (block appears dry). IF it helps, the engine code is D15B1. any info would help a lot! Thanks!
Block the wheels, jack up the car, and put it on jackstands.
Crawl under car.
Find out where oil is coming from.
We can't see your car from here. You have to figure it out. Find the oil dripping off the engine and trace it up to where it's coming from. Maybe your oil filter came off and your air freshener bearing is now siezed with headlight fluid.
