I am looking at a 95 accord ex 4cyl 5spd and was wondering how good they are with gas. Currently i own a 98 cx hatch so Im very happy with my gas. I do drive a lot but am looking for sometihng a bit bigger and more power.

 

from personal experience and talking with others on here you can expect anywhere from 350-450 miles per tank. this can even be lower or higher than these numbers as well. 5th gens have 17 gallon tanks.

 

with the turbo on there and a shitty afc tune i get about 25mpg......lol

but stock they do pretty good

 

get about 300mpg in town, thats also me not shifting for economy all the time. gets pretty damn good mileage on the interstate... only 3 fills or so when i took a trip to toledo.

 

i get about 350-400 on every 13-14 gallon fill up...im in a 4th gen 4dr dx tho... but hey, a new accord should get better gas mileage should it not? so something around my numbers is prolly the same for the 5th gen

i get about 20~25mpg......damnit......if i were you, id kinda be worried i was running lean.......

BTW: my fuel pump is on its last legs, 02 sensor is prob on its way out, and $20 says i could start my own ricer company w/ all teh damn carbon buildup on my dist cap and plugs........oh well......

well my repair manual says
a 97 accord 2dr, 2.2hp should give 23 in city and 25-27 in highway

I get 25 mixed up

like 370 miles for a 17 gallon tank
