ok to run +40mm offset on one side and +42 on other?
I am wondering if it would be bad to have +40mm 16x7 rims on drivers side and +42mm 16x7 rims on passenger side.
The reason is I have 2 +40mm rims with curb damage, one is pretty bad & The rims are out of production. I found 2 kinda similar looking rims (but not exactly the same) that are +42mm.
So if they are on different sides of the civic it wont really be noticible
will having +2mm more offset on one side of the car do any harm?

performance wise, I would run the 40's up front and the 42's in the rear, of course this depends on how different the wheels look.
Either way they are similar enough that you won't notice much of a difference any way you mount them.
