Has anyone ever had problems with their door locks on Gen 3 Integras? Today, I tried locking my doors, but, the driver side won't lock. It seems like it gets stuck. The passenger side locks though. I sprayed some WD-40 into the lock hole, and it works, but, not everytime. Anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it?

 

i had the same problem but i don't know how i fixed it.. i took off the door panel didn't see anything wrong, so i put it back together and it's working fine. it's been ok for about 2 months.

 

You have to hold the inside door handle in the open position when locking the driver's side. I guess it's some sort of security feature so you can open the door in case you forget your keys.

I had the problem about two months ago, took the door apart, and found nothing. My dad sprayed WD-40 into the lock, and it worked fine. Now, today, its giving me problems again. I sprayed it with wd-40 again, and hopefully its working ok again.

I've never heard of holding the handle in the open position, but, I'll try it.

 

I am talking about the inside lock.

 

had the same problem.. I thought it was my alarm.. but i guess something got caught. Happened one more time after that and its been fine since

 

Yeah...try doing what I suggested. Does it work?
