Help me out? something is wrong the brakes are real squishy, I might not have bleed the brakes correctly. But I want to be sure that is not my MC and booster.

you don't "need" the boost and MC, but getting them from a delsol VTEC or a GSR certainly wouldn't hurt. The squishiness is most likely from your bleeding. Do it again, make sure you follow good directions, and don't be afraid to bleed through twice.

Also, if you're doing any autoX or anything where you'll care about brake bias, I'd track down a proportioning valve from a 4-wheel disc car. Hope that helps.

What is there to confirm. I am running a B18C1 swapped EG with full GSR suspension and brakes that I did myself. I am running a GSR MC and booster, and a GSR prop valve. You can use any MC and prop from a 4-disk car you want, but if you use one from a different platform, i.e. GSR on civic, then you'll need to cut and flare the lines, which is annoying.

I second that. Bleed them again, and then one more time. Whe you do a big swap like that, it can take a while to get everything down.

Perhaps you should tell us how you are bleeding them, maybe we can offer a suggestiong?

bleeding the brakes again worked. I should probably do it one more time. I dont seem to be able to lock up the breaks like I could with my drums, but it seems to stop quicker.. So I dont know.

My prop valve was from a 92 Si, which isnt a 40/40 its like a 40/30 or something like that. My actual brakes are from an EX(I assume since they are nissen capilers).

So, if the proportioning valve is 40/30, where does the other 30% of your braking force go?

Actually, if you want to NOT have to flare the brake line, get a M/C + Booster from a 98+ integra and you don't have to. Can't bolt a 98+ MC to a 97-down booster either.

Very good info!!

So pretty much keep the same year booster and MC.

I'm putting a 99 Booster/ MC on a 92 civic. Didn't even occur that a 98+ wouldn't fit on a 97. Thanks!!!
